James' Birthday Party

James had a great birthday this year. He had been looking forward to it since February (Isabel's birthday) but was very self controled when the presents started to stack up at the house. He'd look at them every day and try to guess what was in them. But he never would touch them or try to sneak opening them.

When it finally came time to open them - he needed no help this year! He was ALL over the presents. And he loved them all!

He is a big fan of cards. This one was a talking Spiderman card. He thought it was amazing that Spiderman was wishing him a Happy Birthday!
The Imaginex Pirate Ship was a huge success with both children!

He got really good at using his new LeapFrog LeapPad. He has extreme concentration while he tries to hold the pen and push just the right button. It was really cute to watch him learn how it works.

The Cake - James found that candle about 2 months before his birthday and I told him he could have it on his cake. Well, he didn't let me forget. Everytime we were at the store he'd see it and say "remember to get that candle for me on my birthday cake Mamma."
He was REALLY good at blowing out his candles!
