Baby Mine

James and Isabel are SO tan!!

Auntie Muggs' B-Day

Yesterday was Aunt Muggs' Birthday. JL whipped up a delicious pot of Dutch Oven potatoes, while Grandma made some fabulous chicken fingers and a cake. Izzy Jeanne was happy to help put the candles on the cake and sing at the top of her lungs.

The kids gave Aunt Muggs a boating hat

Boat Boat Boat

This past Saturday we spent the day on the lake. Temps were high, and the water was SO nice (even though it's like 80 degrees!) James enjoyed showing off his famous belly flop for Grammy and Muggs. Isabel was happy to show Aunt Muggs (who was playing the role of Ariel) how she twirls around in the water like Cinderella. She also showed us all that she can kick around and float by herself in her vest! Wyatt even got in for a little while, although most of the time he soaked up the shade and got a few naps. :)

James was 1st in!

The rest of us weren't far behind!

Izzy trying to wait patiently for me to get back in the water

I was trying to get a picture of Grammy, Muggs and JL with their feet up on the swimdeck, but James thought it was just too funny to jump on them while they were floating there

Swimming Graduation

James finished up his lessons this past Thursday. He has done GREAT! They had him swimming short distances alone (and without a vest) by the end of the session. He's got quite the frog stroke down, but it gets the job done and he's able to move around without sinking! He is also REALLY good at holding his breath and diving for rings.

As their graduation celebration, the kids were able to go down the water slide and play in the water park section for their last class. James had no fear about the slide and was the first to go down! He spent most of the time going down the slide and diving for rings. He hardly wanted to leave when it was all over!

Fun-ness

The kids are really loving all the new fun things they are getting to do with Grandma and Aunt Muggs!

An Audience

James was so thrilled Monday night when Grandma and Aunt Muggs got to accompany him to swim lessons. He was such a ham! Everytime he'd do something new, he'd surface, wave, and then shout out "How'd you like that?" :-)

At this lessons, they had the kids in life jackets to practice their backfloating. James floated by himself on his back for the first time! He was really thrilled!

Visitors!

Grandma and Aunt Muggs arrived late Fathers Day Evening. We're so excited they are here to visit us for a while!!!
