A big First Day

James' first day of Preschool was last week. I was going to post the day of, but it happened to be a day before leaving for vacation, and time was slipping away from me and my need to fill my suitcase.

SO here are a few pictures from his first day. He loved it! More than I even thought he would. When I picked him up, a big, huge, 20 minute excited talk came out of his mouth. He told me about the playground, and eating his lunch, and playing with his friend Jasper, and the teacher, and the treasure box. It was cute to see him get so excited about something so new to him.

The Breakfast of Champs! (yes, those are dino shaped pancakes - expertly hand spooned by Mom!)

Suited up and ready to go!

Walking the beige mile

Just before he walked in the door

Right at home! Not even a 'bye mom!'

Definitely it was a lot easier on him than it was me. I was so sad to see him tromp off, backpack in tow, into the big scary world. But, he handled himself like a pro while Mom cried in the parking lot.

I can't believe he is big enough for school! I am not surprised that he was such a champ! He is one smart kid! Way to go Jamesie Bug!

James definitely looks excited to be going to Pre-school and he's definitely the cutest kid there. Love the pancakes . . . .

YAY James! So glad he's having fun!
I cried again this year after I dropped mine off too! They grow up fast.
