The Halloween Store

Well, we finally made it! I decided sometime last week that I really just needed to crack down and get this potty training thing D O N E! I planned to take Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and just do it. Hopefully enough would sink in that by Tuesday, we would be accident free (at least for the duration of preschool!)

Friday morning, I told James that if he went all day without any accidents, we'd go to The Halloween Store when Daddy was done with work. I already knew that he was keen on the right motivation, and he'd been begging me all week to go to this store, so I figured we may have a winning combination.

He did so good!! Better than I expected for Day 1! He went ALL day, but unfortunately had a tiny accident right after dinner (we were litterally grabbing shoes from the closet to head out!) So, we couldn't go to the Halloween Store, but we took him to the mall to look at other decorations because he had done a really amazing job.

Saturday and Sunday we faced accidents with #2, but by Monday we were smooth sailing! We had nothing but success all day Monday (with #1 & #2!) So that night, we proudly loaded up and heading to the Halloween Store! James loves goes to these places about as much as I do!


Despite our success, I am nervous for preschool tomorrow. 4.5 hrs w/out me there to pester him constantly to try to go. Only time will tell....
