Epic boat ride! We went out right after JL's last meeting and had a total blast out on the lake! The weather was so nice - warm and not windy! That's a miracle, considering the wind has been blowing around here since ... well ... January!

The kids started out with a swim. The water was a little chilly for me and E, but the boys jumped right in - even Wyatt! - and had a great time!

After they burned a little energy splashing and swimming around, James and Daddy took their first surf ride of the season. Wow! They both did great! With me not able to surf this season (yes, I am crying) JL was able to put the weight on the side of the boat that works better for him. He had no trouble riding around. And James - it was like he never had an off-season! He had the longest turn he's ever had! I had to turn the boat twice to keep them going around the lake! James just had a big, fat smile on his face the entire time!

We ended the night with JL on the wakeskate. With the lack of wind, he had the best ride he's ever had on that thing. The water was like glass (and that isn't common around here!) and I could hear him whoopin' and hollerin' out there. He had a GREAT time!

Sounds like a wonderful time on the water for all. Pictures are real cute--need to see a pic of you too.
It is good to see you all are geting that thing warmed up for Matt! he is SOOO ready to do some narly boat trips!
you know, looking at these pictures again I hope Ben is brave enough to try this after seeing James do it. I think he would have so much fun. James looks like he is having a blast!
