Dad's Birthday

Oct 26 - 28 : Dad's marathon birthday.  ;-) 

JL took Friday off.  He started his day off by volunteering at James' school.  After that, we took him to lunch at on of his favorite places.

Then Saturday Morning, we all got up and headed out for a 2 hr car ride to pick up one of Dad's presents....

Turns out 2 hrs in the car will do this to a super excited 2 yr old.

And we're there!  And here's his present...

Meet Calamity Jane!  She is an 8 wk old Australian Shepherd!  Dad is going to use her on the ranch to herd pigs/ducks/horses and the occasional stray child!

We're calling her Cally

After we picked up Cally Girl, we headed out to a BBQ joint we've all been wanting to try for a while.

The ambiance was sweet, but the food was lacking.  Here's my boys checkin out the joint.

These two were best buds outside, but when Cally came in and started playing with Manny's toys, there was a brief standoff.  But they worked it out.  Manny is actually really good at sharing!  He even gives her his secret stash bones!

Sunday we did presents.  Big Wy picked out this camo hoodie for Dad.  He was so proud of his present!

Believe it or not, Dad is wearing all his gifts.  Pants from E, Hoodie from Wy, Handkerchief from Cody, T-shirt (which you can't see) from James, and T-Shirt from me (he has both on!!)  Oh, and the mini gun is actually a BBQ lighter.  James had that thing picked out since September!
