Boat Show

This past Saturday we took the kids to the Boat Show. I think this is the first time we've gone since we had the kids, and I must say I was plesantly surprised at how much fun they had and how much fun I had with them both in tow!

We started the tour with snacks (naturally!) The last time we came, they had a grill with hot dogs and french fries and such. James was sorely disappointed he couldn't get his fries that we had foolishly hyped. But a chocolate peanut butter cookie and a king size snicker bar (I know, I know) resolved his sadness.

James was so interested! He wanted to see every single boat. And to make sure that we accomplished this goal, he allowed us all about 4 seconds (per boat) to make our inspections, possibly sit, and then move on to the next one.

Isabel was happy to voice her opinion either from the stroller, or her Daddy's arms. Despite not really having a nap, she was great! There was so much going on and so many colors and lights that she just goo'd and gaa'd. Eventually, it all caught up to her though!

Yeah! It's always a relief when those type of outings are fun for everyone.

Sounds like James is ready for a boat ;). You guys pick one out?

It's a new brand - just out this year - called NADA. (I think they are manufactured in Italy or something.) They are surprisingly cheap for what you get. ;-)
