Rescue Woof

I have rescued a Mini Van and brought it home to live with us. Sadly, my old hotness Infiniti had to find a new home with two loving (younger) people, but such things happen when kids start to take over.

We have affectionately named the new Van Woof. I saw a bumper sticker ages ago that simply said Woof and loved it. Course, I had figured to put it on my new Sequoia/Suburban at the time. But, nevertheless, it found a home on the new Van and thus gave us the name.

I will admit, it is convenient with the kids. I don't have to stoop down and twist myself around in all crazy ways to make sure I don't bonk the kids' heads on the roof each and every time I try to get them in and out. Also, it's got PLENTY of storage/cargo room. I can pretty much put everything I want to in it, plus a few things I never knew I needed until now.

So, I guess I'm a (deep swallow) Van owner now. Joy.

We had money down on a Seqouia (it was beautiful!) - but finally decided on the mini-van (the same exact one you now have). And honestly - I LOVE it!! We're young enough - we have plenty of time to own a suburban/sequoia. Toyota mini-vans rock!! Enjoy it!

Congrats and sorry at the same time. We still have not made the plung to get a van, I just can't. But we do have to get something bigger than our Sante Fe. I barley fits 3 car seats. Good luck and enjoy.

Yeah, congrats on your car!!! I am so amazed at how fast you can sell a car or a house for that matter. You are amazing!

Yay for the minivan! Your coolness transcends your vehicle, Lisa.

What a crack up. I would have taken the plunge if we had ever had another kid. We came so close once when I was pregnant, then had a miscarriage. They are so spacious and practical, in spite of the non-cool factor. Woof!
