Feet & Hair

This past Saturday, Wyatt really made a huge leap in his walking efforts. He started to cross rooms! All of a sudden, he just decided to walk everywhere. It was exciting. I got a lot of it on video, but it takes forever to upload to blogger. So, you are just going to have to trust me. :) Since then, he is hit or miss with walking. Seems like the mood has to strike him just right.

Wyatt went in for his 1 yr checkup on Monday. Great report from the Dr! He's 20.5 lbs and 31 inches tall. (25%, 90%). He's slightly ahead on his milestones and all over a picture of health. He got 3 shots at this visit, and since then, he's been a snuggly cuddly Mamma's baby who doesn't even want to try walking. I think his leg is a bit sore from the MMR vaccine. So, maybe he'll pick it up again here in a week or so.

Also, exciting news from this past Saturday. James got a HUGE haircut! You've seen his hair (see below posts) and how long it has been getting! Well, it finally got to where it was bugging him (hallelujah!) Daddy has been in love with the surfer hair (as has James) but Mamma was getting a bit tired of not seeing her cute boys' face. So, I jumped at the chance to cut it. I took him right in and had them hack it off! :) I didn't buzz it, because even I have to admit I love his hair, but I had them clean it up a bit so it doesn't bother his neck and his ears anymore. I LOVE it - and so does James! All of a sudden, he looks like a 5 yr old and seems so much older! It's like he's been hiding behind that shag and suddenly is grown up!
