A Day in Daddy's Shoes

Yesterday was "Take your Kids to Work" day! The kids and I had a great time!

We started the tour with a fun demo of liquid nitrogen. (I don't have any pictures from this - sorry about that!) Dr. Kool (as he was called) showed us how a banana, a bell pepper, a rubber ball, and a carrot were turned to brittle fragments once dipped in the nitrogen. He also showed us an awesome trick where he put a graham cracker in the smoke just long enough to have the smoke coming out of his nose/mouth as he then ate the graham cracker. ;-)

After all that excitement, the kids got to color a big picture for the wall.

Proudly displaying their art work

One of the highlights was the stepping stone pond

Cookie Walk time!

James going around and around

Isabel playing the cookie walk

She only had to go around once before her cookie was called and she won!

Everyone was a winner. Wyatt got a treat just for being cute! No walking required ;-)

Five minutes later!

It is hard work to be Daddy!

What a fun thing to do. Looks like you all had a great time sharing a day with JL at work. (Glad JL works for such a great company.)
