Little Fishies

James started swimming lessons this week. He absolutely loves them! And, he's a natural! This past week they focused on blowing bubbles out your nose while under water, kicking, making ice cream scoops (stroke), and jumping in. James was first in line to try all of it! He'd step right up every time - no matter the new skill. By yesterday, he was a pro at all of it. He can go under, and stay under long enough to fetch a diving ring off the bottom of the platform. He was also swimming (by himself!) from one instructor to the other. He looked more like a frog wiggling in the water - but he did it! They are starting to backfloat and stay under longer now. I can't wait to see what he masters next week!

That's him mostly under the water - you can see the top of his head. By yesterdays class, you couldn't see one inch of him on the surface. He was under - and would stay under for a LONG time fishing around for his ring. I was extremely impressed!
