Main St. Bethlehem

We took the kids to Main St. Bethlehem the other day. This is one of our new traditions we started about 3 yrs ago. James asks about it every year - it always amazes me he can remember it from year to year. Especially because he was not quite 2 the first time we went!

The sky as we were driving out - beautiful!

Standing in Line

Every year he notices and likes something new. This year it was the guards (they are dressed like spartans) and the jail house. Last year it was the animals. Those were still a highlight for him this time around, but it was really his sister and little brother that were in love with the animals this time around. (Well, and Wyatt loved the Bethlehem bread!)

Typically when we go, it is freezing cold. This year, we went on a night that was forecast to be in the 50's. It was just right. Chilly enough that I felt like we were in the season, but not so cold that the kids were freezing and couldn't even enjoy the event.

I didn't get a good picture of the camels. They are really amazing. But the donkey is cool too. :)
